THE VISION

I believe that we all have the ability to make changes to our lives and to ourselves, leading us to live a more content and happy life. Changes such as these are not always easy to make and, as a psychologist, it is my goal to help my clients discover and use the tools that can identify and facilitate these changes. My psychological approach focuses on assisting clients with achieving something that they can take away from each appointment, and then work on at home to improve their life day by day, ultimately leading to large-scale improvements over time.

I have experience working with a diverse range of people facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol addiction, trauma, stress, and grief and loss. I have worked with adults, young people, couples, the LGBTQ community, as well as members from many different ethnic backgrounds.  Being fluent in both English and Czech allows me to reach and help a wider range of people.

As an applied positive psychologist, I draw on and develop positive approaches to my practice. I believe that a solution-focused approach helps my clients make solid changes leading outcomes that are long lasting. I often utilise Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help my clients. I engage in collaborative sessions with clients to build trust and motivation for success and am able to help them reach their goals and enhance their everyday lives.
